A truly beautiful cladding option and can be combined with painted gable ends for an amazing contrast. Cedar doesn't require treatment however, would benefit from a clear sealer which will preserve the beautiful colours Cedar has to offer. After a while, left untreated, Cedar will age beautifully and turn a silver colour.

Giving You An Insight Into Our Shepherds Hut Manufacturing Process
Planning
We work closely with our customers to help them design a Shepherds Hut to their specification. You can choose placement of sockets, windows and we can discuss the various optional extras before we start manufacture.
Selection
We start by building all of our unique glamping pods with carefully selected FSC timber. All base framework if fully treated and all timber used is quality checked by us before any piece goes into production.
Manufacturing
Using our very own state of the art machinery, we carefully cut each component of our Shepherds Huts. These are then quality checked before being assembled by hand and glued in a special jig to ensure each piece is identical to the next.
Assembly
Our Shepherd Huts are finished with BBA Certified breathable membrane before being cladded to give the unmistakable 'Shepherds Hut' shape. Our unique design has a steeper curve allowing for more headroom inside and the entire roof system is so strong, it will easily support the weight of 2 large adult men
Hot Stuff
High quality 100mm thermal insulation is then fitted to throughout the Shepherds Hut. This ensures thermal efficiency through the coldest of nights whilst keeping out the heat on the warmest of days. A far superior system to our competitors. Insulation is included in the walls, floor and roof as standard.
External Protection
Exterior timber is fully treated with high quality preservative which is applied by hand. Spraying is great but by applying treatments by hand ensures all areas are fully treated and nothing is missed. All of our exterior preservatives are included in the price.
Internal Finishing
The Shepherds Huts are then fitted with spruce T&G boards. All cladding is secret nailed so you don't see any unsightly nail heads. We then finish with natural skirting boards and architraves to compliment the interior of our Glamping pods. As standard, we fit 18mm moisture resistant floorboards in all of our buildings for you to choose your own carpet, vinyl or laminate flooring. Should you require a matching spruce T&G floor or a finished floor such as laminate, our optional extras are below.
Electric Pack
All our Shepherds Huts come as standard with white double gang sockets (2 included) a light switch and a matching ceiling mounted light pendant centrally fixed. Inside is a small consumer unit with MCB's to protect each circuit. The exterior of the hut is also fitted with a 16a or 32a (depending on load) commando socket for connecting to mains supply. All our electrical installations are tested and certified before they leave us.

Security
All of our Shepherds Huts are fitted with UPVC French doors in Anthracite Grey or White as standard. Not only do these look great and feature 28mm double glazing but they feature a multi point locking system for added piece of mind. Trickle vents are also included to allow air flow and prevent any moisture building up inside the building. Extra windows can also be added as an optional extra, please see below.
Saying Goodbye
We use a local haulier to collect and deliver our Shepherds Huts anywhere in the UK.

Add an IP66 external socket to your hut. Ideal if you want to mow the lawn, or power any other electrical garden appliance.
Electric Pack Premium
£299 inc VAT
Have your hut fitted out with our Premium Stainless Steel sockets (4 included) that include USB charging points, a light switch and a directional ceiling mounted LED light bar. Inside is a consumer unit with MCB's to protect each circuit. The exterior of the hut is fitted with a 16A 3 pin 2P+E (32A if a larger supply is required) for connecting to mains supply. All our electrical installations are tested before they leave us. The socket faces may differ slightly from the image shown above
Flat Panel Radiator
£249 inc VAT
Pre-Installed and on its own dedicated circuit, you can include a 1kW wall mounted flat panel radiator to keep your hut nice and toasty during the colder months. The radiator may differ slightly in style than shown above. The colour will be white unless otherwise specified.
Electric Effect Fire

For those looking for the aesthetics of a traditional log burner but with the added bonus of no mess and virtually instant heat why not opt to have an electric effect log burner installed inside your Shepherds Hut. Electric Effect Fire may differ in style than that shown above
Multi-Fuel Stove Pack

For those looking for the ultimate heating package, why not have a log burner pre-installed to your Shepherds Hut. The burner comes fully fitted inside your hut with Hearth and Fireproof backing.

Bathroom Pack 1

Our Bathroom pack 1 consists of Hand wash basin and pedestal including mono-block tap and waste and a closed coupled toilet all complete in its own dedicated room with lockable door. All pipework and fittings are pre-installed ready for site fitment to water and waste supply. The bathroom is also fitted with a water heater. Sink/Toilet may differ slightly than that shown in the image.
Bathroom Pack 2

Our Bathroom pack 2 consists of Hand wash basin including mono-block tap and waste and a closed coupled toilet all contained inside their own vanity unit with under sink cupboard. The bathroom pack 2 is also complete in its own dedicated room with lockable door All pipework and fittings are pre-installed ready for site fitment to water and waste supply. The bathroom is also fitted with a water heater. An electric shower with shower tray and glass screen is also included in the bathroom pack 2
